Jim Nguyen established his law practice in Personal Injury, which accurately reflects his values and upbringing. Strongly influenced by his parents who immigrated to the U.S. to escape the Vietnam War, Jim’s values instill hard work and compassion. It is also from these values where Jim’s passion for helping others inspired him to become a lawyer.
Jim graduated from Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law and began as a defense attorney at Callahan, Thompson, Sherman & Caudill, one of California’s most successful insurance defense firms. While at CTSC, he learned firsthand how insurance companies operate. The knowledge Jim gained now allows him to better assist clients in formulating exceptional strategies for each case. Whether it is a settlement or jury trial, Jim is committed to providing the best representation for all his clients.
Establishing his firm in 2019, Jim has achieved a remarkable track record, prevailing in hundreds of cases and securing millions of dollars for his clients. In 2024, the Law Offices of Jim T. Nguyen underwent a rebranding, emerging as the renowned Win Nguyen Law you know today.
Julie Ho Chen
Attorney
Julie Ho Chen has been practicing law for fifteen years in Southern California. She is admitted to practice in both federal and state court and has practiced in the areas of bankruptcy, family law and personal injury offering compassionate and strategic guidance through complex legal matters. Julie has dedicated her legal career to providing exceptional representation to her clients.
Julie earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School. Prior to that, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of California, Irvine.
Julie’s approach to legal practice is rooted in empathy, precision, and determination. She excels in problem-solving and values strong interpersonal connections with her clients, ensuring that their needs are met at every step of their case.
Beyond the courtroom, Julie is a passionate traveler and a lover of food and craft cocktails. A devoted mother of two daughters, she treasures time spent with family and has attended over 50 music concerts, embracing her love for live music.

As one of the founding employees, she’s done everything from streamlining business operations by fabricating the firm’s operation of procedures, to maintaining client and medical provider relations, to designing logos and even remodeling the office!

As the lead Case Manager for Win Nguyen Law, Bernice specializes in bringing peace of mind to our clients as their main point of contact between the firm, Insurance adjusters, and medical providers.
Her spirited and unrelenting personality plays a crucial part in ensuring our clients to not only receive the treatment they need to get back on the road to recovery, but the settlement they deserve.

Nicole serves as the immediate point of contact for Win Nguyen Law. Nicole’s compassionate demeanor and calming presence can help ease the stress of our clients.
As the marketing coordinator, she helps curate and manage our social media content. With a degree in Animation, she puts her specialty to use by animating our weekly Thursty Thursdays Thoughts.
