What handguns are approved in California? (2024 UPDATE)

All handguns that are legal to carry in the state of California will be listed on the official State of California’s Department of Justice: Office of the Attorney General’s website (www.oag.ca.gov). Any handguns that are not on the list or were formerly on the list, then subsequently removed are no longer legal to own, purchase, sell, carry, manufacture, or import in the State of California.
